Smith Meter® E-Type Strainers provide protection for metering systems from dirt and foreign materials that can damage the system. The large screen area and streamlined flow path (10 degree slant) minimize pressure drop, while the sturdy basket can withstand a 50psi differential without bursting, and is easily removed for cleaning. E-Type Strainers are available in 3" and 4" inch sizes.
Smith Meter® In-Line Strainers provide protection for metering systems from dirt and foreign materials that can damage the system. Available in straight through sizes 2" to 8" or angle type sizes 4" to 6", In-Line strainers feature a removable basket for easy cleaning and can operate in either horizontal or vertical orientations.
Smith Meter® Model GLS Strainers are designed specifically for European requirements. Providing protection for metering systems against dirt and other foreign materials, GLS Strainers feature a large screen area and streamlined flow path to minimize pressure drop. The sturdy basket can withstand a 3.3 bar differential pressure without bursting, and is easily removed for cleaning.
Smith Meter® Pipeline Strainers provide protection for 4" or larger turbine and positive displacement metering systems against dirt and foreign materials.
The Smith Meter® Model AR Air Eliminator is a horizontal pressure vessel designed to reduce fluid-line velocity, causing vapor bubbles to rise to the top of the vessel where they are vented through the air-release head to a safe environment. The AR Air Eliminator is available in sizes 2" to 16".
The Smith Meter® Models RB and UB Release Heads are used in combination with Smith Meter Air Eliminators or with strainers to release air or gas from petroleum liquids before they pass through the meter.
Model DE-1 and DE-2 Air Release Heads are dual-electric float switch devices for installation on air eliminator or deaerator vessels. The dual float provides a unique and efficient method of air elimination from liquids to provide accurate metering.
Model DE-3 Air Release Head is an electric float switch device for installation on an air eliminator tank. The triple float switch air release head provides a unique method of air elimination designed to function with an unloading Petro-gard system.
The Smith Meter® Model VAR Air Eliminator separates and releases air or gas from petroleum or other liquids before they are passed through the meter. Complete elimination of air or gas is essential for accurate metering. Therefore, the Smith Meter Model VAR Air Eliminator is a necessary part of an efficient metering system when there is a possibility of air or gas being present in the flowstream.
The Smith Meter® Model VDR Vertical Deaerator is a compact vertical mounted centrifugal-type air eliminator for effective air release and gas extraction. The VDR will separate and release air and gas from petroleum and other liquid products before they are metered.
